The Credit Card Payment Mod - PPRO* replaces the standard payment system of your phpFox community web site and allows members to pay for their membership fees using an on-site credit card payment system, never having to
leave your domain for the entirety of the transaction.
When a member pays for their membership (new members, membership upgrades, etc.), they will select the membership level they want on
the community subscribe page, and then enter their payment details (name, address, credit card number, etc.) on a secure payment screen (via https:) that is within your site's domain, making the payment process seamless. All information is sent from your website to the payment processor (behind the scenes) via an encrypted SSL connection for secure transactions. The credit card authorization is done by the payment processor, and returns the results
of the payment tranaction to your website.

is similar toCredit Card Payment Mod - PPRO, with the exception
that it is based the Advanced Integration Method (AIM) payment solution from Authorize.net®.
The actual payment processor that is used by the website is basically transparent to the user, and the user experience is almost identical, whether the payment processor used is authorize.net or paypal.
